Which is more environmentally friendly, an eCard or a regular paper based greeting card? Is a question many eco conscious people ask when thinking of sending a birthday greeting card. Even more people, millions in fact, ask the same question in December of each year, when it is time to send Christmas cards.

The answer to the question is simple and straightforward. However, given that you are reading this on a charity eCard platform. We think it’s important to provide some evidence to support our claim.  The illustration above shows our finding when we looked at whether traditional paper based cards are less environmentally friendly than eCard.  Detailed text below provides more information.
