How to choose a place to stay in holiday

Each and every year, people try to have a few days off from their busy life and choose to go on holidays in different parts of the country. Hotels usually meet higher standards when it comes to comfort and this is represented in UK by stars ; as higher the standards are, the more stars a hotel receives from the English Tourism Council. Stars number can range from one to five, and let’s take a brief look on what each and every level actually means:

- One star hotels offer limited facilities and services from simple accommodation to an eating area and a bar for alcoholic drinks

- Two stars hotels, in addition, offer better equipped bedrooms, higher standard of services and usually a lift

- From three stars above, the level of quality increases significantly, offering rooms service, laundry service and a staff available to answer all customers’ requests

- Four and five stars bring in addition to first three ones room service for all meals, 24/7 drinks and snacks, dry cleaning, well prepared staff, best comfort available and a luxurious establishment with highest quality on services and cuisine (for five stars)

On the other hand, guest houses and inns are rated with diamonds, again, ranging from one diamond to five diamonds, according to offered services and facilities.

It is sometimes difficult for people to choose the appropriate level of quality to fully enjoy their staying, whether it is about a hotel or an inn. There are folks for whom a two-starts hotel meets their standards and folks who cannot stay in an under-5 stars hotel, it all depends on how high a person’s standards are.
