What started on the American golf courses some time ago has eventually
arrive at our shores, GPS navigation systems, based on the ever popular in
car Sat Nav systems, can now be applied on the golf course all over Europe

We at Planet Golf UK have tested numerous makes of GPS system and found the
Caddy Aid the most accurate on the market today.

CaddyAid is the only GPS product in the world which provides actual
photographs of each hole being played, as well as giving you major
interaction with it whilst on the course allowing you to calculate distances
to literally anywhere on the course.

Caddy Aid is seen by many club golfers, journalists and professional caddies
to be the best golf GPS distance finder in the world. Used by many Tour
professionals, at the 2006 and 2007 Open Championship, the GPS range finder
provides an unparalleled amount of visual and distance information.

When walking down the fairway and looking at the colour computerised touch
screen, you simply look at the automated readout that shows you the front
and carry distances to any key point on the hole. If that was not enough,
from where you are standing, you can calculate the distance to literally
anywhere on the photograph.

Caddy Aid provides all of these functions:

Shows photographs of the golf holes

Shows front and carry distances

Shows your favourite Lay up distance

Shows distances to literally ANY blade of grass

Shows how wide the landing area off the tee is

Shows the distance to the run off areas

Simply put, no other golf GPS device can compete with Caddy Aid’s accurate
and visual information.

Each GPS product has its own features and merits, and although some are more
expensive than others, as well as perhaps more functional than others,

However before you buy, one thing we would ask you to consider in your
purchase is how our competitors actually get the GPS coordinates for the key
features such as the green, bunkers ponds etc. Caddy Aid gets ALL of its
data from aerial photographs, using a wing mounted £1 million camera,
guaranteed to 1 metre accuracy. When we fly the Open Championship, that one
image alone will cost around £3,000, so hopefully that shows how accurate
our core data is. Other companies use less sophisticated methods like Google
Earth to get its data, which is widely known to be highly inaccurate.

The next time you are watching the British open on TV when Peter Allis says
to Ken Brown lets take a look at the hole where Tiger has landed with his
drive, the picture will come up of the hole and where Tigers ball has
landed, distance to the pin etc etc, those pictures were taken by the Caddy
aid camera, the same that is used in the Caddy Aid GPS system.
Brilliant or what??
