Caddy Aid GPS Distance Finder

February 14th, 2009

What started on the American golf courses some time ago has eventually
arrive at our shores, GPS navigation systems, based on the ever popular in
car Sat Nav systems, can now be applied on the golf course all over Europe

We at Planet Golf UK have tested numerous makes of GPS system and found the
Caddy Aid the most accurate on the market today.

CaddyAid is the only GPS product in the world which provides actual
photographs of each hole being played, as well as giving you major
interaction with it whilst on the course allowing you to calculate distances
to literally anywhere on the course.

Caddy Aid is seen by many club golfers, journalists and professional caddies
to be the best golf GPS distance finder in the world. Used by many Tour
professionals, at the 2006 and 2007 Open Championship, the GPS range finder
provides an unparalleled amount of visual and distance information.

When walking down the fairway and looking at the colour computerised touch
screen, you simply look at the automated readout that shows you the front
and carry distances to any key point on the hole. If that was not enough,
from where you are standing, you can calculate the distance to literally
anywhere on the photograph.

Caddy Aid provides all of these functions:

Shows photographs of the golf holes

Shows front and carry distances

Shows your favourite Lay up distance

Shows distances to literally ANY blade of grass

Shows how wide the landing area off the tee is

Shows the distance to the run off areas

Simply put, no other golf GPS device can compete with Caddy Aid’s accurate
and visual information.

Each GPS product has its own features and merits, and although some are more
expensive than others, as well as perhaps more functional than others,

However before you buy, one thing we would ask you to consider in your
purchase is how our competitors actually get the GPS coordinates for the key
features such as the green, bunkers ponds etc. Caddy Aid gets ALL of its
data from aerial photographs, using a wing mounted £1 million camera,
guaranteed to 1 metre accuracy. When we fly the Open Championship, that one
image alone will cost around £3,000, so hopefully that shows how accurate
our core data is. Other companies use less sophisticated methods like Google
Earth to get its data, which is widely known to be highly inaccurate.

The next time you are watching the British open on TV when Peter Allis says
to Ken Brown lets take a look at the hole where Tiger has landed with his
drive, the picture will come up of the hole and where Tigers ball has
landed, distance to the pin etc etc, those pictures were taken by the Caddy
aid camera, the same that is used in the Caddy Aid GPS system.
Brilliant or what??

U.S.Kids Golf Clubs – Helping get junior golfers going

January 22nd, 2009

The mission of U.S. Kids Golf is to help Junior players of ALL ages and height have fun learning the lifelong game of golf and to encourage family interaction that builds lasting memories.

U.S. Kids Golf started making junior golf equipment back in January, 1997, as a solution to bring more juniors into the game of golf.

Cut down clubs & junior clubs were so very heavy. They were not only damaging kids’ swings, but also killing their desire to play golf.”

U.S Kids Golf began developing the Ultralight Kidsklubs, designed to be 25% lighter than adult and most junior clubs, these were an amazing success not only 25% lighter but increased in weight as the junior golf grew older & taller eventually making way for them to transgress straight onto Adult clubs.

Another problem in the junior market was the length of clubs were advertised in age which is incorrect you could have a 8 year old 5′ tall, this is why U.S.Kids golf came up with there custom fit program all clubs come in a custom colour giving an optimal playing height ,

Since then, parents and pros across the country and around the world have seen the incredible difference Ultralight and Performance Light Kidsklubs have made in their child’s swing and enthusiasm for the game.

Ultralight and Performance Light Kidsklubs are changing the way kids learn and enjoy the game of golf. Once in your child’s hands, you’ll understand why.

This is why U.S.Kids Golf are the Number 1 brand worldwide

You can buy US Kids golf clubs at  online golf equipment store , you can find out more information about US Kids golf clubs here.

Golf Equipment – buying out of season can save money

January 17th, 2009

It was argued by a friend that the best time to buy things very cheaply for next Christmas is any time after Christmas because all unsold items like gift wrappers, Christmas card and all things associated with that particular festive season will have a huge reduction in price because shop keepers do not want to store it for about 12 months till the next Christmas.

Can the same be true of golf equipment? is the best time to buy cheap golf equipment is in January sale, when winter is still around and not many golf players on the golf courses? It would appear so when you visit golf equipment shops, especially online golf equipment store. All the expensive golf equipment ranging from the humble golf ball, complete golf set, Nancy Lopez range, both electric and non-electric trolleys, golf shoes and clothing are showing a significant reduction in prices.

A quick look around online golf sites revealed that January may well be the best time to buy Golf equipment. At one golf equipment site, a Bay Hill by Planer graphite iron was going for less than half the original price it cost during golfing season.

There seem to be a swell of evidence that buying things out of season can save you a lot of money.
