In Europe particularly Germany, the goverment has incentivise drivers to scrap their old less environment friendly cars for a new more fuel effcment and environment friendly models. In UK a similar sceme to the German one has been introduces, UK government offer £2,000 to owners of cars that are 10 years or older to scrap it for a newer more fule efficient model, an even greener scheme which give £5,000 for swithing to electric vehicle is proposed for us in the next few years.
